Ramona High School Senior Class Information

CAP AND GOWN

Caps and gowns are provided to all seniors for FREE. Students, you must complete your information at bit.ly/ramcapandgown while signed into your RUSD Google account. Please complete this information by January 9. Students who do not submit their sizing information by January 9 will have to select a cap and gown from what is available on the day of distribution (May 21). 

 

PURCHASES

Accessories

Jostens can provide a variety of optional accessories (speciality tassels, announcements, rings, etc.). Our Jostens representative is Tyler Olin. Please go to jostens.com for more information on optional items for purchase through Jostens (class rings, memorabilia, invitations, etc.). 

 

Yearbook

A yearbook costs $75. You can purchase yearbooks at the finance office or using our online store at bit.ly/ramstore. A limited number of yearbooks are available this year, so buy yours before they sell out! Once they sell out there is no way for you to get a yearbook. Senior ads will soon be available for purchase, also at bit.ly/ramstore. Please email Mr. Ezcurra (pezcurra@riversideunified.org) with any questions about the yearbook.

 

TIME CAPSULE

Please give Ytzcali Rodriguez or Mr. Silva (room 12) items that can be placed in the time capsule. (Note: These items will not be returned.)

 

EVENTS

Senior Sunrise (Friday 9/26  6:15am)

All seniors are invited to gather at the stadium to enjoy the sunrise together. The senior class will provide refreshments. (You will close out your senior year with senior sunset in May.)

 

Senior Assembly (Thursday 1/8 Office Hours)

All seniors will be required to attend the senior assembly in the theater during Office Hours on 1/8. Seniors will be given all of the information needed to complete their senior year. Seniors will be given their Class of 2026 lawn signs at The Spot from 2:30-4pm. Anyone who does not pick up their lawn sign at that time will need to stop at the main office for it.

 

Prom (Saturday 4/18 8pm-midnight)

Tickets will be $50 until 4/10 and $60 afterwards. All students need a permission slip. You may take a guest. Your guest must be in at least the 9th grade and UNDER 21. Ticket sales will open to seniors only on 3/20 then open to juniors on 4/6. Sales end on 4/16, or when the event sells out, whichever comes first. Senior Awards Night (Thursday 5/14)

This celebration will take place in the theater on May 14 at 6pm. Students will be alerted if they are going to receive an award. Parents are invited to attend as well.

 

Final Exams (Monday 5/18- Wednesday 5/20)

Senior final exams will take place during your regularly scheduled classes from May 18 to May 20. The bell schedules will not change on these days. Any Fs or incompletes that you have on this date will affect your graduation status. Students will turn in their chromebooks through Gov/Econ classes whenever possible.

 

Check-Out (Thursday 5/21)

Your last day of school is Thursday, May 21. 8:30am - 3:20pm  You will attend all regularly scheduled classes. Only students with no 6th period can check out before 3:20. At 3:20pm you will report to the cafeteria. You will receive your cap and gown. All students should have their fines cleared and library items turned in prior to Graduation practices.

 

Senior Sunset (Thursday 5/21 7-10pm)

You have one last opportunity to get together as the Class of 2026. You will eat together and have the opportunity to sit together on the field as you watch the sun set on your senior year. Then the music will come on and you will have the opportunity to dance and hang out with your friends. You will also receive your elementary school cumulative file photos, if they are available in your cumulative school file. The festivities will end at 10pm.

 

Senior Walk (Friday 5/22 9am-noon) *attendance required

All seniors will participate in the Senior Walk at Jefferson or Madison Elementary Schools.  We will meet at the gym at 9am. We will return by noon. Seniors wear their cap and gown and walk through the halls whilst being cheered on by all the grade levels at Jefferson or Madison. It is an uplifting and positive event that inspires the young future Rams. 

 

Graduation Tickets (Friday 5/22 after the senior walk)

Graduation tickets (8 per student) will be distributed in the gym after we return from the senior walk. 

 

Graduation Practice (Tuesday 5/26, Wednesday 5/27) *attendance required

Practice will take place on May 26 (9am) and May 27 (9am). Each practice will take between three and four hours. You are required to remain until the end. Attendance at both practices is mandatory. Students who do not attend practice will not be allowed to participate in graduation. Practices will take place in the gym and at the stadium, so come prepared with water and sunscreen. You will be able to turn in chromebooks, library materials, and pay fines before and after graduation practice. 

 

Graduation (Wednesday 5/27) *attendance required

Graduation will be from 6:30-8:00 pm on May 27. The gates to the stadium will open at 4:30pm. Please take pictures with your family prior to reporting to the gym at 4:30pm. Each graduate is allowed 8 tickets to graduation. No family members will be allowed into the gym or onto the football field. You must report to the gym in your cap and gown no later than 5:00. You may not alter your cap and gown in any fashion. You may not wear any additional items over your cap and gown other than those approved by Ramona High School. Do not bring any personal belongings with you. All bags and items other than your phone and sunglasses will need to be left in your car. 

Suggested attire under your gown: shirt & slacks or dress, sensible shoes. Avoid heels as they will make you unsteady when walking through the grass and turf.

 

Graduation Information for spectators

• The gates to the stadium will open at 4:30pm.
• All bags will be searched. Limit bags to 12 x 6 x 12 inches.
• No family members will be allowed onto the football field.
• No entry without a ticket. No re-entry permitted.
• Every person older than 4 years old needs a ticket. 

 

The following items will not be permitted inside the stadium:

• Balloons
• Air horns or noise makers
• Food or drink
• Ice chests
• EZ Ups or umbrellas

 

After the ceremony is over, families will exit the stadium and gather on the grass field at THE FAMILY ZONE to meet students.

 

Diploma Pick Up (Thursday 5/28) *attendance required

Diploma pick up will be from 9:00 am - 12 pm at the ticket booth at Ramona’s Stadium. Please bring your ID, and make sure that your fines are paid. How to check your fines

 

Grad Bash 2026 (Thursday, May 28)

Grad Bash is at Universal Studios on May 28 from 3pm to 2am. You will be emailed when tickets go on sale. We anticipate that tickets will cost $107. This event is open to Ramona seniors only. The buses will leave from Ramona’s front parking lot at 12:30pm and return to Ramona at approximately 4am. You must adhere to the Ramona dress code and Universal Studios rules of conduct. You must have a completed permission slip and the form acknowledging the rules for Grad Bash to purchase your ticket. Tickets can only be purchased in-person at the Finance Office.

 

SENIOR CONTRACT

 

RAMONA HIGH SCHOOL 

SENIOR ACTIVITIES AND GRADUATION CONTRACT 

I understand that as a senior at Ramona High School, it is my responsibility to adhere to the school guidelines and expectations presented in this contract. I understand that failing to adhere to these guidelines and expectations may disqualify me from receiving honors and recognition and from participation in school activities (e.g. Prom, Grad Night, Senior Sunset), including graduation. 

Second Semester 

I will abide by all directions received from school officials and rules stated within the student handbook while at school and throughout the senior activities and graduation ceremony. I understand that I must abide by the tardy policy and comply fully with the consequences for violations (e.g. detentions, Saturday school). All Saturday schools must be served two weeks prior to participation in any senior event. 

Any incident that does not adhere to the expectations in the student handbook may result in a loss of any or all privileges. Such violations include, but are not limited to, alcohol, drugs, weapons, theft, etc. 

I am expected to continue excellent behavior, effort, attendance, and academic standing throughout my senior year. Failure to do so may result in loss of recognition opportunities and may jeopardize the possibility of speaking during senior activities or graduation. Incidents such as, but not limited to, alcohol, drugs, theft, fighting, academic dishonesty (including cheating/plagiarism), and weapons will jeopardize my standing. 

Graduation 

✔ You must attend all graduation practices in their entirety in order to be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. 

✔ Attire: Shirt, slacks, dress, sensible shoes. 

✔ You may not alter your cap or gown in any way. (No flowers, no writing, no decorations, etc.) 

✔ You may not wear any additional items over your cap and gown. You may only wear stoles that are provided by Ramona High School. (Military stoles provided by a recruiter are also allowed.) 

✔ Do not bring any personal items with you (you may have sunglasses and phone). Leave all bags, hangers, etc. in your car. 

✔ You will be searched prior to entering the gym for the graduation ceremony. Leave all personal items in your car! 

✔ Possession or use of alcohol or drugs will result in immediate removal from the event. All students are subject to search, which may include a breathalyzer test. 

 

I have read the Senior Activities and Graduation Contract and understand that any violation of the contract can result in my elimination from senior activities and/or graduation.

Se proporcionarán togas y birretes SIN COSTO  a todos los alumnos de último año. Estudiantes, Tienen que agregar sus datos en bit.ly/ramonagrad2025 mientras están en su cuenta de Google de RUSD. Por favor completar esta información antes del 12 de enero. Los alumnos que no envíen su información sobre su talla antes del 9 de enero tendrán que escoger una toga y birrete del tamaño que esté disponible el día de la entrega.

Anuario

Un anuario cuesta $75. Pueden comprar su anuario en la oficina de finanzas o en nuestra tienda web en bit.ly/ramstore. Este año hay un número limitado de anuarios disponibles. Cuando se agoten no habrá manera de comprar un anuario. (Si no se agotan, pueden comprar uno en la oficina de finanzas.) Anuncios para alumnos de último año se pueden comprar en bit.ly/ramstore. CÁPSULA DEL TIEMPO

Por favor entregue a Brooke Hernández o al Sr. Silva (salón 12) aquellos artículos que pueden ser incluidos en la cápsula del tiempo. (Nota: Estos artículos no serán devueltos.)

EVENTOS

Amanecer para alumnos del último año (viernes 26 de septiembre 6:15 am)

Se invita a todos los alumnos del último año al estadio para que pasen el amanecer juntos. La generación del grado 12 proporcionará bocadillos. (Cerrarán el año con la puesta del sol para alumnos del último año.)

Asamblea para alumnos del último año (jueves 8 de enero, horas de oficina)

La asistencia es obligatoria para todos los alumnos de último año durante las horas de oficina el 8 de enero. Los alumnos de último año recibirán toda la información necesaria para completar su último año. Los alumnos de último año recibirán su letrero de jardín en The Spot de 2:30 pm a 4 pm. Cualquier alumno que no recoja su letrero en esta asamblea necesitará pasar por la oficina principal para recogerlo.

Baile de graduación (sábado 18 de abril, 8 pm a medianoche)

Las entradas costarán $50 hasta el 10 de abril y $60 después. Todo alumno necesita una hoja de permiso. Pueden llevar a un invitado. Su invitado debe de estar al menos en el grado 9 y ser MENOR de 21 años. La venta de entradas estará abierta solamente a los alumnos de último año el 20 de marzo y para alumnos del grado 11 el 6 de abril. La venta de entradas continuará hasta el 16 de marzo o hasta que el evento se agote, lo que ocurra primero. Alumnos e invitados deben completar un formulario de permiso digitalmente en: bit.ly/ramprom25.

 

Noche de reconocimiento para alumnos de último año (jueves 14 de mayo)

Esta celebración tendrá lugar en el teatro el 11 de mayo a las 6pm. Se les avisará a los alumnos si van a recibir un reconocimiento. Los padres también están invitados a asistir.

 

Exámenes finales (lunes 18 de mayo - miércoles 20 de mayo)

Los exámenes finales de los alumnos de último año tendrán lugar durante sus clases regulares del 19 al 21 de mayo. Los horarios de los timbres no cambiarán en estos días. Cualquier F o calificación incompleta que tengan en esta fecha afectará su estado de graduación. Los alumnos entregarán sus chromebooks en sus clases de gobierno/economía cuando sea posible.

Registrar su salida (jueves 22 de mayo)

Su último día de clases es el jueves 21 de mayo. 8:30am - 3:20pm. Deben de asistir a todas las clases programadas regularmente. Sólo los alumnos que no tienen 6º período pueden salir antes de las 3:20 pm.

A las 3:20 pm se presentarán en la cafetería. Recibirán su toga y birrete. Todos los alumnos deben pagar sus multas y deben entregar sus artículos de la biblioteca antes de la práctica de graduación.

La puesta del sol para alumnos del último año (jueves 21 de mayo 7-10pm)

Tienen una última oportunidad de reunirse como la generación 2026. Comerán juntos y tendrán la oportunidad de sentarse juntos en el campo mientras ven la puesta de sol de su último año. Luego, comenzará la música y tendrán la oportunidad de bailar y pasar un buen rato con sus amigos. También recibirán fotos de su expediente escolar acumulativo de la escuela primaria, si están disponibles en su expediente escolar acumulativo. Las festividades terminarán a las 10pm.

Caminata de graduados (viernes 5/22 9am-noon) *asistencia obligatoria

Los alumnos que estén interesados pueden inscribirse para participar en la Caminata de alumnos del último año en la Escuela Primaria Madison o Jefferson. Nos reuniremos en frente del gimnasio a las 9:00. Regresaremos antes del mediodía. Los alumnos del último año visten su toga y birrete y caminan por los pasillos mientras todos los alumnos de todos los niveles de grado en Madison les echan porras. Es un evento positivo e inspirador que anima a los jóvenes futuros Rams. Se distribuirán los boletos para graduación (8 por alumno) en el gimnasio después del "Grad Walk," la caminata de graduados.

Práctica de graduación (martes 26 de mayo, miércoles 27 de mayo) *asistencia obligatoria La práctica tendrá lugar el 26 de mayo (9am) y el 27 de mayo (9 am). Cada práctica durará entre tres o cuatro horas. Se requiere permanecer hasta el final. La asistencia a ambas prácticas es obligatoria. Los alumnos que no asistan a las prácticas no podrán participar en la graduación. Las prácticas se llevarán a cabo en el gimnasio y en el estadio, así que vengan preparados con agua y protector solar. Podrán entregar los Chromebooks, los materiales de la biblioteca y pagar las multas antes y después de la práctica de graduación.

 

Graduación (miércoles 27 de mayo) *asistencia obligatoria

La graduación será de 6:30 a 8:00 pm el 28 de mayo. Las puertas del estadio se abrirán a las 4:30 pm. Favor de tomarse fotos con sus familiares antes de reportarse al gimnasio a las 4:30 pm. Se repartirán 8 boletos a cada graduado. No se permitirá la entrada de familiares al gimnasio o a la cancha de fútbol. Deben presentarse en el gimnasio con su toga y birrete a más tardar a las 5:00. No se puede alterar la toga y el birrete de ninguna manera. No pueden usar ninguna prenda adicional sobre su toga y birrete que no sea la proporcionada por la Preparatoria Ramona. No traiga ninguna pertenencia personal con usted. Vestimenta sugerida que pueden usar debajo de la toga: camisa y pantalón, vestido y zapatos cómodos. Evitar los tacones, ya que le darán inestabilidad para caminar sobre el césped.

Reglas para las espectadoras

● Las puertas del estadio se abrirán a las 5 p.m.

● Se revisarán todas las bolsas. Las bolsas solo pueden medir 12 x 6 x 12 pulgadas.

● No se permitirá la entrada de parientes a la cancha de fútbol.

● No se permitirá la entrada sin boleto. No se permitirá la reentrada.

● Toda persona mayor de 4 años de edad necesitará un boleto.

Se prohíbe la entrada de los siguientes objetos al estadio:

● Globos

● Bocinas de aire o matracas

● Alimentos y bebidas

● Hieleras

● Carpas or paraguas

Después de la ceremonia, las familias saldrán del estadio y se reunirán con sus alumnos en la Área de Familia en el césped.

Recogida de diploma (jueves 28  de mayo)

La recogida del diploma será de 9 am a 12 pm en la taquilla del Estadio de Ramona. Favor de tener su tarjeta de identificación y asegurarse de haber pagado sus multas. No podrán  recoger su diploma si tienen multas. Como pueden ver si tienen multas

Grad Bash 2025 (jueves 28  de mayo)

El Grad Bash es en Universal Studios el 30 de mayo de 3pm a 2am. Se les enviará un correo electrónico cuando los boletos salgan a la venta. Anticipamos que los boletos costarán alrededor de $90. Este evento está abierto a los alumnos del último año de Ramona solamente. Los autobuses saldrán del estacionamiento delantero de la Preparatoria Ramona a las 12:30 pm y regresarán a Ramona aproximadamente a las 4 am. Deben de adherirse al código de vestimenta de Ramona y a las reglas de conducta de Universal Studios. Deben tener una hoja de permiso completada y el formulario de reconocimiento de las reglas para Grad Bash para comprar su boleto. Los boletos se pueden comprar en persona en la oficina de finanzas.

CONTRATO PARA ALUMNOS DEL ÚLTIMO AÑO

LA PREPARATORIA RAMONA

CONTRATO DE GRADUACIÓN Y ACTIVIDADES DEL ÚLTIMO AÑO

Entiendo que como alumno del último año en la Preparatoria Ramona, es mi responsabilidad adherirme a las pautas y expectativas de la escuela presentadas en este contrato. Entiendo que no adherirme a estas pautas y expectativas puede descalificarme para recibir honores y reconocimientos y para participar en las actividades escolares (por ejemplo, el baile de graduación, la noche de graduación, la puesta de sol del último año), incluyendo la graduación.

Segundo Semestre

Cumpliré con las indicaciones que he recibido de los funcionarios escolares y los reglamentos indicados en el manual para alumnos mientras esté en la escuela y durante todas las actividades para alumnos del último año y la graduación. Entiendo que es obligatorio cumplir con la política de tardanza y cumpliré plenamente con la consecuencia de los quebrantos (por ejemplo detenciones, escuela sabatina). Deben de cumplir con todas las escuelas sabatinas dos semanas antes de participar en cualquier evento para alumnos del último año.

Cualquier incidente que no cumpla con las expectativas en el manual estudiantil resultará en la pérdida de alguno o todos los privilegios. Tales quebrantos incluyen, pero no se limitan a, alcohol, drogas, armas, robo, etc.

Se espera que continúe con un excelente comportamiento, esfuerzo, asistencia y posición académica a lo largo de mi último año. El no hacerlo puede resultar en la pérdida de oportunidades de reconocimiento y puede poner en peligro la posibilidad de hablar durante las actividades del último año o la graduación. Incidentes tales como, pero no limitados a, alcohol, drogas, robo, peleas, deshonestidad académica (incluyendo trampas/plagio), y armas pondrán en peligro mi posición. Graduación

✔ Tienes que asistir a todas las prácticas en su totalidad para ser elegible para participar en la ceremonia de graduación.

✔ Atuendo: camisa, pantalones, zapatos adecuados.

✔ No se puede alterar la toga y el birrete de ninguna manera (no se permiten flores, palabras, decoraciones, etc.)

✔ No debe poner ningún artículo por encima de su toga y birrete. Solo debe de usar estolas proporcionadas por la Prepaaratoria Ramona. (Estolas militares proporcionadas por un reclutador sí se permiten).

✔ No debe de traer ningún artículo personal (puede usar lentes de sol y teléfono). Dejen toda bolsa, colgador, etc. en su automóvil.

✔ Te vamos a registrar antes de entrar al gimnasio para la ceremonia de graduación. ¡Deja todos tus artículos personales en tu automóvil!

✔ La posesión o el uso de alcohol o drogas resultará en la eliminación inmediata del evento. Todo alumno está sujeto a un registro, lo cual podrá incluir una prueba de un alcoholímetro.

He leído el contrato de actividades de último año y graduación y entiendo que cualquier quebranto del contrato podrá resultar en mí eliminación de actividades y/o graduación.

Firmarás y entregarás este contrato a la oficina de disciplina en enero.
