Dear Ramona Families:

Congratulations on having a Ramona Student as part of the Advanced Placement Program. Ramona's goal is for your student to be prepared for college and career readiness and this is a key step towards their college success. The Advanced Placement class culminates in the AP exam in May and gives your student the opportunity to earn college credit based upon their success on the exam.

Unfortunately, there is no longer funding for Riverside Unified to pay for the overall cost of all AP exams; Ramona High School is implementing programs for families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch to purchase these important exams without undue burdens on the family. The cost of each exam is $94. Please remember, based on your students success on the exam, you might save thousands of dollars in college tuition.

For those of you who will be paying for your student's exam(s), we are implementing a few options:
  1. Monthly Payments (cash or check) are being accepted through our finance office. You may make monthly payments of any amount towards the total cost of the exam. All exams must be paid for in full by March 8th or a $10 late fee is imposed by the Advanced Placement program.
  2. Exams can be purchased through Ramona's web store using a credit card. The link is below. We apologize but monthly payments cannot be processed using the web store.
  3. Your student can share the link to the web store through social media to ask friends and family to donate for the full costs of their exam's fees.
In order to further support your student, and help them be ready to pass their AP exams, Ramona has increased their offerings of Advanced Placement classes, purchased student access to a, added Saturday AP Success Academy and is working with UCR's AP Readiness Program to further enhance their learning and success. Please encourage your student to take advantage of these opportunities.

Steps to pay for an exam on the web store:

- Login into web store link

- Choose from the "Product Categories" (AP tests), or click on AP tests on the home page under featured items

- Input the number of tests you are purchasing, student name and your name

- Next, add the items to your cart

- When finished, go to your cart and register for an account by entering your email address and name (Registering for an account will allow you to track all payments made through the web store and reprint receipts if needed)

- Then go to checkout and enter your secure payment information. Note: Once your credit card information is input and submitted the payment will process immediately. You will not be able to review the purchase again before submitting the payment.

- Once the payment is complete, please print a copy of your receipt for your records.
