Ramona High School

Hello Ramona Community,

Classes remain in session and we can assure you that we will have an increased presence of staff as well as the Riverside Police Department.

From the Riverside Police Department:

“Earlier tonight, the Riverside Police Department’s Public Safety Communications Center received multiple reports of a possible threatening social media post made toward Ramona High School.  Officers began their investigation, and with the assistance from school officials, determined the identity of a student who made the post.  A short time ago, a 17-year-old male student was arrested and will be booked into Riverside County Juvenile Hall for criminal threats and illegal possession of ammunition.  This investigation is still ongoing and there are no further details to release at this time.

The Riverside Police Department and Riverside Unified School District takes all suspicious social media posts regarding our schools very seriously and will follow all protocols to maintain the safety of our school community.  We thank those parents and students who came forward tonight to alert us to this post.”

If you have any further information please email Mr. Cisneros, Principal, at and/or call the Riverside Police Department at 951-354-2007

Thank you.
